Mandap Muhurat (Mandvo Ropan) & Grahshanti/ Shatak.
This is a Gujarati family Vidhi done by both the bride and the groom at their respective houses or venue.
It is now also accepted that this ceremony can be conducted jointly for both the bride and groom with their respective families and guests.

Weddings in Gujarati community involve a few symbolic pre-rituals.

Chandlo Matli, Chundadi, Sagai,
Mangni, Savapaanchanna and Ghor Dhanna in different Indian/Gujarati communities with certain differences is the actual ENGAGEMENT ceremony. It is the official acceptance of the matrimonial alliance between the boy and girl.

Upanayana is the eleventh of the fifteen samskar rites. It is described as Upanayana, Upavit, Yagnopavit or Janoi Vidhi.
Upanayan ceremony includes the wearing of Janoi (sacred thread) on the body.
There is a strong belief that once you wear a Janoi, then it’ll guard you against any negative energy or thoughts throughout your life.

Among the kathas that are prevalent in India, ‘Shri Satyanarayan Vrat Katha’ is the most popular. Satyanarayana vrat is the easiest and most inexpensive way of self-purification and self-surrender at the lotus feet of Hari.

Gayatri is the mother of all the Vedas. She is the life-giving force. She is a Mantra Devi, a manifestation of all the beej mantras. Gayatri can be seen as the female equivalent of Brahman and the equivalent of Raja Rajeswari, the param shakti, the universal Mother, the power of God manifestation.
One of the most auspicious of all yagna/havan is the Gayatri mantra and this is the one of the main mantras used throughout the Hindu religion by all.

Tulsi vivah is celebrated on the Dwadashi (12th day) of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) OR any time between the Prabodhini Ekadashi (11th day) to Poornima during the month of Kartik, as per the Hindu calendar.
Tulsi Vivah is a Hindu festival in which a ceremonial marriage is held of Tulsi with Lord Shaligram which IS personifications of Vishnu.
There are so many charities out there doing incredible work to help those who need it. And we all have different causes that strike a chord with us. Maybe what a charity does means more due to personal experiences and just feel very strongly about those being helped.
